[Evolution] Install Problems

Guys,
    When I run the ./configure to install Evolution, after the check for
working makeinfo is found it checs host system type. I then get a
configure error. The error is "cant not guess host type; you must
speicfy one. I am using Redhat  6.2 with Helixcode Gnome 1.2. Does
anybody have any idea's.  What do I need to put in. I am fairly new to
this so your help would be appreciated.
