I could try to help here.. But need to run 3.26 first.

I can handle G+. But it should be someone who has access to all 3.

Does anyone have other ideas for things we should do?

I think we should have devs blog about stuff they have been doing for the past 6 months.  I think that  would allow for some excitement to build. 

That's a great idea. Perhaps someone could reach out directly to developers who have worked on the main features for this release.
