It would be nice to negociate this and have a price in the contract, rather than leave it up to their good will.
Sorry, I meant that Killermundi will PROPOSE the final price... They are supposed to send me the numbers this week and we have the last word about prices.
It doesn't make for a nice user experience if you want to buy a few things, and you end up having to buy off 3 different suppliers. It would be nice to be able to constitute a shopping basket on the site.
I think we are saying the same. The steps could be something like: - User puts articles in my basket seeing only one catalog kind of integrated to gnome.org - User introduces shipping address - User checks out and final price including shipping is calculated considering the supplier assigned for that country. - User pays using the platform of the supplier. But anyway, let's not get into much details while we have only one supplier. :) Payment platform looking clearly related to the supplier, not GNOME. Makes sense, yes. About the designs:
We need to reduce the work we have to do. So Killermundi designs, but
we
have a veto on designs (all designs have to be approved by GNOME, perhaps in writing).
Ok to veto/approval. About production, I thought maybe there is people here willing to submit a proposal? I mean, it doesn't need to be extra work for us. If nobody comes up with something (we like), then Killermundi is happy doing it. They are quite flexible, you saw that designing the 15 versions of the GUADEC t-shirt. :) -- Quim Gil /// http://desdeamericaconamor.org
