I removed all sound codecs except G722 and PCMU and I disabled all the
video codecs. That seemed to have solved the problem. I can now call
telephones and the connection is good. Thank you very much for working
with me on this problem

Thank you for your reply. I am attaching three images which I hope
will help understand what I am saying that I cannot call a telephone
with Voipbuster on Ekiga.

The first is when I log in to Ekiga. It shows on the bottom left that I
am connected and that Voipbuster is registered.

The second image shows when I have placed a call to a telephone and
nothing happens. On the bottom left it still says I am connected but
below that it says that the remote equipment is not on line.

The third image shows my Voipbuster settings.

Is there a particular codecs order that I should use? I notice that
G.711 isn't one of the options. Is that a problem?

Finally, to say that the Ekiga echo test does work

Ok, it is clearer now. Ekiga shows that your contact (Casa?) is not
online. If you think this is wrong (i.e. it is online), then send us/me
your -d 4 output.

If the problem was that there is a codec mismatch, then ekiga would show
"No common codec".

[My apologies about saying I cannot add new contacts. Of course I
can...]

Thank you for your help.

Pablo

I used Voipbuster fine with Ekiga in Ubuntu 11.04. With 11.11 it shows
online but when I dial a number, nothing happens. What to do?

Also, it will not let me add new accounts.

You need to be more specific.

Does double-clicking in contact list call your contact? What does it
mean "not let you add new accounts"? Is there any error? Etc.
