I used Ekiga in Perth last year when on a trip and it worked ok.   The
rates were whatever the DiamondCard rates were to the US which I think
were pretty reasonable.   I don't remember thinking that the quality
was poor or even noticing any issues at all, though it was almost a
year ago so I can't trust my memory too well.
