I can create and check the .diff.gz for debian sid (my distro).  For 
ubuntu, I can only create them by looking at the differences in previous 
.diff.gz, but I cannot test them/build debs, as I do not have ubuntu.

Not yet, I haven't used it until now...  I will use it this evening if I 
have the time, otherwise tomorrow.
