Given that 1.4.10 is the *newest* version available [

But I'm pretty sure not every distribution offers that version yet.
SVG and PDF are sayed to be officially available since cairo 1.2.
BTW: Dia's cairo export filter is still marked experimental, mainly because
the text rendering still uses the 'toy API' and not Pango/cairo. But things
like page sizes, pagination and integration with GtkPrint are also missing.
