Try mptopdf - it's on my vanilla Suse install.

Thanks - yes, this is very obviously a problem.

Could you please send the .dia file? I have attached a quick example 
that shows that the text is too small (maybe 10%) in the metapost 
output, rather than too big as per your example. All created 

using the 

patch from _yesterday_.


The .dia file is the UML-demo.dia from the samples dir.

I used unpatch pre3.  With the patch, it is indeed too small.


The output of mptopdf is attached (latest svn plus patch from bug
#332554 comment #6). I think this is pretty good, no?
