Sorry, but I strongly disagree with that. GNOME's inclusiveness is the only reason I participate as

a person of color. I've also seen a wealth of diversity in the people coming in and building things

off of our platform during the time I've participated. Many other free software projects that aren't

committed to inclusiveness don't get the same benefits.

Doesn't change the fact that it's accurate, and is the correct computer terminology.

If we want to be an inclusive project, it would be beneficial to use language that do esn't scratch at scars when we have other metaphors we can use.
