Re: Proposal for Module libical-glib

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your feedback. I really wish libical-glib is one of the dependencies of California.

Could you tell me a little bit more about how and where libical has been used in California and is that part going to be wholly replaced by EDS? I think the libical-glib will replace the libical in EDS in the future to solve the introspection issue in EDS. And if California will employ EDS to process the Calendar stuff, you don't need to worry about the introspection issue, at least from this aspect :-)

P.S. California is really cool!

Best,

William

Hi William,

I'm the lead developer of California, a standalone calendaring GNOME application.  We use libical extensively and would dearly have liked to have an introspectable interface when we started, so I think this is a great project.

If you have any questions for me or would like to discuss how California uses libical, I'd be happy to talk about it.
