According to http://git.gnome.org/cgit/beagle/log/ it is not
unmaintained but most probably has less developers/parties working on it
than on tracker: http://git.gnome.org/cgit/tracker/log/

Obviously this does not say anything about code quality and/or
comparability of application scopes.
