I was pushing for a solution that sits somewhere in the middle of those
points for Ubuntu, but for various reasons the single dialogue approach was
taken.

Separate dialogues for 'turn off' and 'log out' make sense, but making them
very distinct (as with the Ubuntu or better, Windows XP) dialogues would be
a great incremental improvement to what we already have in 2.14.
