I do both, because my disk space is limited.
And there may still be people who only rip the CDs that they own, and
play the others.

It makes sense to me because I think of both tasks as doing something
with the CD, and I think that both tasks involve seeing a list of songs
and thinking about maybe ripping them.
I do think that the SJ CD-player UI could be far better than the
horrible car-stereo UI of our existing player.
