I updated from CVS yesterday after the notification that a DateTime patch was reverted, cleared by indices and let Beagle run for a while. I restarted my laptop and Beagle started again. Two issues I've seen: 1. Files are being reindexed. This is easily seen in the logs. 2. I've yet to have Beagle finish from a clean directory for a several days of updating from CVS. The tree crawling gets "stuck" with messages like: 061206 0722412395 16878 Beagle DEBUG: Running file crawl task 061206 0722417547 16878 Beagle DEBUG: Done crawling '/home/double/projects/pdouble/bible/commentary/de' 061206 0722422582 16878 Beagle DEBUG: Running file crawl task 061206 0722429681 16878 Beagle DEBUG: Done crawling '/home/double/projects/pdouble/bible/commentary/de' 061206 0722434701 16878 Beagle DEBUG: Running file crawl task 061206 0722439825 16878 Beagle DEBUG: Done crawling '/home/double/projects/pdouble/bible/commentary/de' 0 The particular "Done crawling ... " message above occurred 29,614 times before I restarted. I am not using extended attributes, and I'd rather not. I'm not sure if that makes a difference. -- Pat Double, pat patdouble com "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
