As for picture size, i keep the picture size banshee downloads at.  i dont scale them down, and scaling them up, you will lose quality.

Finally got this installed. Along with my past suggestions (configure
format and file name) I have another suggestion... larger size
pictures. Seems all the album.jpg files it generated were 126 pxl
square or less...

Also, where does banshee get the art? I usually embed cover art in the
file, but on every file i've checked the picture is different.
