[Banshee-List] Banshee permanently scanning BPM

Banshee Users,

Whenever I start Banshee, there is a progress indicator in the bottom
left that says there is an active task running, which is that it is
scanning BPM.

This active task has never stopped since the day I installed Banshee.
That was months ago, so I have suspicions about whether or not it is
actually doing anything, or consuming resources.

Will it ever stop?
