All of my album names are "cover.jpg", so I don't think that problem bothers me.
Worse is that I can't use Musicbrainz to retag all of my albums, since
Banshee doesn't seem to read new metadata when the files change.
Instead, it seems to write the Banshee-database-metadata back to the
file, undoing any changes I make in Musicbrainz Picard.
The only way to alter the data seems to be by using Banshee's tag
editor (since I don't want to reimport every song). And Banshee does
have a handy "recompute track numbers" for all tracks in an album.
But, it assumes that I have every track in an album...many large
albums I don't actually have every track for. So instead I'd have to
set the Total Tracks number manually on these individual tracks.
It would be a total pain, so I gave up on these albums for the moment.
At least some of them work now though.
