Actually, a bug report for this issue
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=562826) has already been
around for a while, although there's been no activity for a couple of
months.

Any form of fix or workaround that doesn't result in choppy video would
be much appreciated. :)
