Just to add, one thing you _can_ do today if all you want to do is play
stuff from the karma, is to remount the drive with lkarmafs (requires
libkarma) then point Banshee at that. The command line options to lkarmafs
are a bit byzantine IMO but it does offer an easy way to go back to real
filenames.
