As far as I remember I specified the prefix as /usr, but I can try to recompile both again and make sure. I am running installed (after make install, I just run "banshee" and its in my path and runs fine, just missing the plugins). Also, I tried to compile from CVS to see if that would resolve anything, and I get this error, which I didn't seem to get on the
0.11.1 compile:
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `TagLib/*.cs', needed by `TagLib.dll'. Stop.

Config files are only needed for mapping into native libraries. None of
the official plugins do this, so they don't need config files.
You're not running Banshee uninstalled are you?
