Re: Icon theming for Balsa

Balsa has always used Gtk's stock system to manage the Balsa icons, adding them to a GtkIconFactory. Apparently that works only partially.

Balsa uses different methods to create the icons in different parts of the display. If you could list the specific places where they're still not responding to theme changes, we might be able to track down the cause.

Hi Peter,

Here's the rundown:
Toolbars: all work except for "Close" under Main Window
Message list: None of the status/attachment/encrypted icons work
(For the record, I haven't tested the mailbox icons.)
Message window: Only the "recheck GPG" icon works; the attachment and message parts icons do not. Menus: All of the "standard" GTK icons--copy, paste, close, help, etc.-- work, but the others do not.
Compose window: nothing unique to mention

If you need any more information, I'll be happy to provide it; I'd be glad to get this resolved.

Thanks very much,
