I forgot to talk from your angle, and I/we assume local expenses which NIPA will spend to any expenses with local receipts in Korea dollars, please correct me if I am wrong.
And we have a number of oversea speakers which most of them will apply for financial assistance from gnome.org travel committee, but as I know, travel payment of overseas speakers were settled in cash in hk dollars (anyone please correct me if I am wrong), and speakers should book their air travel in their own, so receipts are in their local currency, which it is possible that NIPA treat them as non local expenses.
Unless payment flow is changed this year, or NIPA can help overseas speakers (and their friends/parents/wife/hunsband/...) to book air travel too.
We will discuss aboves at tonight irc meeting, and may you and local team think and provide alternative suggestions to above work flows if any at tonight meeting ? :) It's still open tonight if we got any better arrangement.
