Thanks for sending this out. It was hard if not impossible to do anything without the conference dates.

Item 4:
If we want to attract good speakers we need to have the travel subsidy policy ready at the same time we ask for paper submissions.  It is a simple reality that we aren't going to get international speakers unless they can travel assistance. We are only setting ourselves up for failure if we do not have this prepared.

Item 7:  Who on the local team will be generating content for both the print materials as well as internet?  Simon, you are going to need some assistance.

Yes, we need local people to gather information like hotel，visa, travel maps etc.

Of course, we must support for gathering local information. 

 

Item 8:  This date seems to conflict in purpose with 7. (Other than i18n)

My real question is about the L10n and i18n.  Do we need both English and Korean local for the website? Like what we did in the first year 2008.

I think we don't need both. English only site should be sufficient. 

Item 10:
I would suggest that we open registration to the public sooner than that.  Is there a reason to delay? Now that we have locked in the venue date the sooner we can get this in front of people the better off we are going to be.

On the 2010, we co-host with COSCUP, once the registration open, all the seats sold out in 2 hours.

This date is open to discuss, based on local people's interests.

I want to fix our suggested date, if we don't have a reason to change.

From the view of audiences, they would like to know topics and speakers from the schedule first before they go to registration.

So, if we sent confirm the sponsored Participants at April 2nd, 2013 (item 5), I think (item 10) open registration to public can be April 16th, or the earliest date April 2nd.
