I am pretty sure we can word that better. No one likes deadlines ;) My
only concern, should we just go and over commit to speakers to sponsor
them, because they'll have to start with their VISA preparations, or be
doubly sure we have enough sponsors and then start approving them?

One thing we all agree on, we can never put a hard deadline to sponsors.
Doesn't work that way with them. But the more they delay, the more it is
going to affect the Papers Committee decisions.

But I am ok with anything that has worked in the past for us. We can
follow whatever process we had for GNOME.Asia 2009 or 2010.
