Ok, I'm a bit reluctant to break the compatibility but it seems that 
it's not really an issue for GDL.

Good. By the way if you have some time to describe me with more detail 
the issue in gtranslator, I will spend some time on it. I think I have 
replied to all James's concerns. Anyway, I plan to spend perhaps one 
additional month on it.
