I'm not sure it's exactly what you have observed though, so tell me if you still have other issues. For me only the iconified widgets are not restored correctly but it's less important.
It was part of it but I still see two problems: * Widget that were hidden in a previous layout are shown again (Breakpoints / Watches) * The hide/show in the View menu doesn't work anymore (try to widget not in the layout before like "Bookmarks" or "Git".
