Hi!
This function is useful to dynamically hide or show the grip, currently it doesn't work so I suppose it is not very useful. Else I don't think it's very difficult to implement.
I kind of think it might be useful in some cases (so I have nothing in mind in special apart from saving screen space) but if you consider it obsolete, feel free to remove it. Regards, Johannes
