I have some interests in microcontrollers myself, mostly for some
personal reasons. It's been some time I went "off" again, so let me
make it up with this one. I would agree with Seb on similar lines.
Some out-of-obvious development supports from Anjuta would be useful.
I would be glad to mentor Lucas for this project.

Lucas, I believe it requires the project to be accepted first by
GNOME? It would be good to know if you have done any gtk+ programming
with C, since it wasn't quite obvious from your mail. Since you have
PyGTK experience, it might be possible to implement it through python
bindings (assuming it's mature enough now).
