I would like to second Dave Beckett's motion for a 1.1.21 release of
libXSLT. We've blown out of our current version of libXSLT:
Using libxml 20608, libxslt 10105 and libexslt 804
xsltproc was compiled against libxml 20608, libxslt 10105 and
libexslt 804
libxslt 10105 was compiled against libxml 20608
libexslt 804 was compiled against libxml 20608
(due apparently to the size and complexity of our templates) and I've
been evaluating the latest released version:
Using libxml 20628, libxslt 10120 and libexslt 813
xsltproc was compiled against libxml 20628, libxslt 10120 and
libexslt 813
libxslt 10120 was compiled against libxml 20628
libexslt 813 was compiled against libxml 20628
I'm running into http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378766 all
over the place. Mostly I can work around it but it would be way better
to get a "formal" released version that fixes the bug. Failing that we
may have to take a code snapshot and build a non-released version, but
I'd rather not do that if it can be avoided.
Are there any plans in motion for a next release?
Thanks for considering this, and thanks especially for all the hard work
that went into the product. We've been using it in a production
environment for several years now with great success.
