Hi, I am porting some code from Solaris 8 to Solaris 10 and I
thought would recompile the libraries and perl modules it uses. I am having a
strange problem with an XSLT that has an external include that I think I have
tracked down to xmllint/libxml. When I use the xmllint that ships when solaris 10 or the one
I compiled years back on solaris 8, both of these commands execute with an exit
code 0 1) xmllint --noout http://content-dev.cdlib.org/x.xml 2) xmllint --noout http://content-dev.cdlib.org:8088/x.xml Howver, when the libxml2 I recently compiled voro davinci:/voro/local/src/libxml2-2.6.31% xmllint

Zlib I get different results for 1) and 2). 1) executes and
returns exit code 0 When I run 2), nothing happens for about a minute or so, and
then I get this http://content-dev.cdlib.org:8088/x.xml:1: parser error :
Document is empty ^ http://content-dev.cdlib.org:8088/x.xml:1: parser error :
Start tag expected, '<' not found ^ I have tested with apache1, apache2, and resin; and what
