Re: [xml] Iconv and zlib

Is there a special reason to distribute custom iconv and zlib builds
with the libxml package for windows? If not, could the package be
changed to use the standard iconv and zlib packages from GnuWin32
instead?

Those are the default names for those packages when built from the source
and are probably more widely used than the GnuWin32 distribution (which
personally I've never heard of). Many projects, including mine, build
these libraries directly from the sources and rely on these names.

Special note: the lastest (2.x) versions of zlib are actually named
zlib-1.lib (and zlib-1.dll) due to a ABI/API change.
