If you would like to use this file (which should be called, you just need to make sure the generated

Hum, if you can fix the as needed and add
this file in CVS, then please commit it yourself. Just make sure that
make rpm still works if you have a Red Hat box handy,

OK, will do.

the libxml-2.0-uninstalled.pc file doesn't seems to end-up in the
libxml2-devel rpm, is that normal ?

Yes, that is intentional. This file is only useful when you have run
"make", but not run "make install" (i.e. the built code is still in the
source directory). Once you have installed the package, you can just use
the normal *.pc file.
