[xml] Has anyone implemented libxml on DOS

I am trying to use libxml with MSVC 1.52 and compiling to target DOS. 
Unfortunately, when trying to use the libxml libraries, I get a load of 
compiler errors from globals.h. I realize that without the errors it's next 
to impossible to tell me what my exact problem is so I will not ask that. 
What I want to know is if anyone has implemented libxml on DOS. From reading 
the documentation it should work because libxml is written in ANSI C. Before 
I spend more time trying to get this going, I just want to be sure that it 
is possible. If there is anyone who had success on DOS, did you have any 
problems setting up and building the libxml libraries? Did you have to do 
anything other than what the documentations specified?
