I cannot compile libxml2-2.4.13 from the sources unless I define
IN_LIBXML
or LIBXML_STATIC. I am using cygwin which does not support dynamic
libraries
(at least mine doesn't); I thought you had to have MINGW for dynamic
libraries. I have tried:
Can you try the following patch and tell if this fixes it ?
http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/cvsquery.cgi?module=gnome-xml&branch=HEAD&branch
type=match&dir=gnome-xml&file=&filetype=match&who=veillard&whotype=match&sor
tby=Date&hours=&date=explicit&mindate=01%2F15%2F02+12%3A09&maxdate=01%2F15%2
F02+12%3A11&cvsroot=%2Fcvs%2Fgnome
It would probably fix that one compilation, but defining IN_LIBXML does not
solve the real problem. Cygwin must get rid of __declspec(dllimport), as
this is specific for the MS compiler.
Igor.
