Sorry, I didn't take the compilation of libxml2 into account. Thanks for 
pointing this out. By "the code" you probably mean the libxml2 code,
right? My code is compiled with "-g" and without any optimization stuff.

Anyway, I will recompile the libxml2 code as you requested and will also
obtain the latest version. (I'm currently using 2.4.22).
