Yeap I created a template. But It doesn't matter.
Instead of ${project-uppercase-make-name} you can say whatever you want.
It is just a generic form in template.
The ./configure is not work properly :) It couldn't find the package.
That's why I figure out where the problem is

I notice this detail only now. Are you trying to write a new template
for vala-gen-project? If not what is the ${project-uppercase-make-name}
variable?
That variable should be substituted by vala-gen-project on project
creation and should not be present in your "production" Makefile.am.
