A more general stand-alone gobject-introspection module[1] is currently
under heavy development, which in due time will replace the internal
vala gobject-introspection implementation. This new module would also be
capable to import/read/interpret C source annotations for these
additional attributes. A preliminary syntax[2] for these annotations is
also under heavy development.
