Hello Andrea, The repository contains initial gnet-2.0 bindings now: http://svn.gnome.org/viewcvs/vala?view=revision&revision=585 The are absolutely untested, and I also do not know, if supporting them is a good idea, as gnet uses deprecated glib API. Probably you want to contact Alexander Larsson and provide him patches to integrate useful gnet features into libgio. He indicated to have some interest in generic networking support for libgio, but he also said not to have the time to do it himself.
