Yes, man page would be nice. Don't know when I will have time to write
one.

You'd probably need to build three binary debian packages: vala,
libvala0, and libvala0-dev to comply with debian's packaging policy.

I am not a Debain expert. Someone could be helpful in this case.
Otherwise, I will do the required work when I will have time.
