Quite often with GUI-based players there's some confusion (as
Calum mentioned). One aspect is that some of them toggle a
button between Play and Pause, so that one cannot tell if
the paused || icon means "I am playing now, press this to pause"
or "I am paused, press this to go back to play".
There is no question in my mind that buttons should not work
like this, and that having two separate buttons is an improvement.
One could make a strong argument that "pause" should be a checkbox,
I suppose.
