As this page mentions, probably the best reading you can do about that
is the book "Tog on Software Design", which covers a lot of the thought
processes that went into the Starfire video.  There were also a couple
of CHI papers about it at the time, contact me offline for those if you
don't have access to the ACM Digital Library.
