Not it's not, there should be 1 tracker-extract process running. Are you sure you don't have conflicting installations here?

It looks like it's being spawned because it's not found. Which sounds like a DBus configuration or multiple install issue.

It isnt actually a problem, but when I look for taxt and click in a link
that is a pdf file I get complaints over something called
XPM image loader. Google tells me this has to do with image preview.

I remebered this was disabled in the build. How can I enable this ?

I could be wrong, but those errors look like there from acroread not a Tracker process.
