In general i agree, the problem is that a developer with both versions installed still needs tracker-stats, tracker-info and the command line tools. We can rename the tools (completely or partially as Juan's patch does) or modify the implementation to make it compatible with both version (nasty code prone to long-term problems).

Renaming the tools can look ugly, but looks like the only solution if we want both versions running at the same time (for developers and specially in maemo).

Lets wait for more opinions before pushing these patches.
