It would be neet to have a dbus call to register such media or
"locations". Invoked either via right-click in nautilus or some other
application that is detecting that a removable media is newly mounted
(press OK to index if the device isn't recognized).

Your ogg/mp3-player might be mounted as a usb-mass storage device. In a
future RhythmBox integration you want to be able to have an index of
your removable media as well.

Yes, and no I guess. I would guess that it would index any media mounted somewhere under your home dir, but since most media are mounted under /media or /mnt, Tracker doesn't normally index them.

Maybe there should be the possbility to manually specify if a medium should be indexed. I'm thinking right click volume in Nautilus and select "Index this Media" or something.
