Ah, yes.  The desperate mind sometimes lets one down. :-)


Why not wait for your distro to produce binaries for you.
Btw, which disto are you using?

Ubuntu Feisty.  I'm not quite ready to upgrade.  I just discovered
tracker and I see that it is default in Gutsy.  Normally I run KDE, but
I install Ubunutu and then kubuntu-desktop on top of it.
