Could you be so kind to run it in valgrind as follows:

valgrind --tool=memcheck --leak-check=yes  --num-callers=20   ./trackerd
--reindex

stop it with ctrl+c after about 30 mins and let me have output

This should indicate what memory leaks you are suffering...
