yeah sorry forgot to add the metadata* files to cvs - have now fixed so 
please try again

depot.h is part of qdbm (make sure you have the dev package of this 
installed) depot.h should be in /usr/include/qdbm and qdbm.pc in 
/usr/lib/pgkconfig
