I updated my sqlite to 3.3.8, with thread-protection configuration options enabled.
Presto, the error reports are gone !!
I can't be sure if the improvement was due to some bugfix, or the re-configuration, but I suspect the latter.
I have now embedded sqlite3 into tracker's cvs
It now has threadsafe mode enabled and is in src/sqlite3
sqlite3 is now built as a private non-installable library which is
statically linked into trackerd (sqlite3 is not installed at all when
tracker is installed so it wont touch or affect existing installations
of sqlite)
You may need to do a fresh checkout of cvs (as we know it cant handle
updates when new folders are added very well!)
Please can you all test this new version and ensure no bugs, crashes or
missing data occurs.
I will be doing a 0.5.1 release shortly with this...
