You might be able to get more info by building Tomboy from source
yourself with this patch applied:
http://armstrong-clan.net/dump/better-websync-debugging.diff

Then start tomboy with --debug in a terminal, and you should get the
Django error page dumped to the terminal.  It should have a more
specific error.

Also, make sure you followed INSTALL correctly, that your Sites table
is set up, etc.
