Re: [Snowy] Setting Snowy Up.

Ahh ok, So its alot like Mono.  But for Webapps.  Gotcha.  Clear as Oklahoma Mud :)  Im doing some reading up right now and re-configuring a couple servers to see what I come up with. Thanks for the info.  I really hope this project Takes off. I use tomboy so much its a big part of my life in development. And Everyday life tasks.

I used to use evernote.  But there is no Linux support unless you use Wine.  and You are limited with Evernote because of having to Evernotes servers and not your own. And limited on space unless you pay.  So Evernote for me died big time when I found I could sync with Tomboy.

But With Snowy + Tomboy = Total Domination.  :)  In fact Id love once things are stable / release for Snowy  Id love to make an iPhone App, so you could send and store pictures with your notes and such from the iPhone.

Thanks for all you all do.  And I Hope I can help out once i get up to speed.

Django is a lot of things.  :-)  Probably reading wikipedia and the
django project website will explain it better than I can.  Django is a
"web framework" (whatever that means) upon which Snowy is built.
Snowy cannot run without Django.

But among many things, Django includes a little test webserver so that
you can test out your app without deploying it in the traditional way.
So that's what I meant before when I said "I only test locally using
the django test server".

Hope this helps,
Sandy
